2019-10-24 14:04:28

In today's society, efficiency, simplicity and timeliness are the choices and pursuits of many people. In this social background, wireless charging technology is undoubtedly in line with the above standards. From this, we can understand why wireless charging is developing so fast.

Now there are so many wireless charging devices on the market, it seems that there are so many. However, there are certain standards for wireless charging. Different mobile phones and products are suitable for different wireless charging devices. How to choose the most suitable wireless charging device for us? First of all, let's learn about the standards of wireless charging. Then choose the most suitable wireless charging products. Let's have a look!

Standard for wireless charging equipment

1. 5W standard

At first, lumia series mobile phones were the market leader, followed by Samsung, LG and other brands. Up to now, many mobile phones in the market support 5W wireless charging. 5W wireless charging is generally based on the Qi BPP (baseline power profile) standard, so as long as there is a Qi logo on the wireless charger (as shown in the figure below), it must support 5W wireless charging power. This kind of wireless charging mode is a common frequency modulation mode, which is the largest wireless charger in the market at present.

2. 7.5W standard

At present, it mainly refers to the mobile phone standard of iPhone series, and the typical representatives are Xiaomi mix2s and mix3 (upgraded to 10W). IPhone 7.5W requires constant frequency mode, that is, the working frequency of transmitter coil must be around 127.5khz, so if your iPhone uses wireless charger for charging, and there are several levels of voltage output on the adapter, if you can see that the output voltage of the adapter is not 5V, it means that the wireless charger is charging iPhone 7.5W wirelessly at this time. 。

3. 10W standard

At present, 10W fast charging standard mainly refers to Samsung series mobile phones, as well as Huawei P20 Porsche version, hammer nut R1 also supports it. There is also a 10W standard wireless charging protocol based on LG and Sony. From the note5 and later series, the flagship machine supports 10W standard wireless charging. Samsung's 10W wireless charging requires 9V and above voltage, and there is no requirement for frequency. It does not need fixed frequency. The frequency conversion charging mobile phone can also be accepted. It needs response protocol, which can be realized by matching the voltage boost after being connected. We often see that 9v1.67a is written on the adapter to prepare for the 10W fast charging of Samsung.

4. 15W standard

At present, the 15W standard in the market mainly refers to the typical mobile phone represented by Huawei mate20 pro. This kind of mobile phone also needs two-way communication encryption, not Qi EPP standard, and strict encryption protection. At present, only Huawei original wireless charger can support 15W fast charging in the market. Its input voltage also needs high voltage such as 9V or 12V to charge quickly. In addition, Huawei mate20 Pro also supports reverse wireless charging.

From the above information, we can see that although there are many wireless charging devices on the market, their standards are basically the same. Different standards and suitable mobile phones are different. When we buy wireless chargers, we must choose the most suitable products according to our mobile phones.
